Today's outfit is shades of grey with a little black. I think this is probably my most elegant coat; inherited from my wife of course, she had an eye for this sort of thing and bought them at bargain prices at loppemarkeder (flea markets).
I was just about to write: "I'm not the only woman wearing a long coat today, but I think mine is the best so far."
And then I thought should I say woman or person? But person makes it ambiguous so then I would need to recast the sentence to make it clear that the persons I have seen are all women.
My point is to wonder if I can include myself in the set labelled women or not,
