Cloudy and damp today, light rain and a bit of a breeze. But we have orange warnings for both floods and wind overnight and all tomorrow.

So apart from walking to the shops for ingredients for tomorrow's dinner I stayed in all day.

Here's the baking. A hot water crust pork pie and a small apple pie made with the pastry offcuts.

More Yorkshire teacakes. this time I dived them into fourteen pieces instead of eight in the hope that there will be some left tomorrow.

I also made a dozen chocolate and coffee fairy cakes. No idea of the amount of coffee was right. We'll find out tomorrow.
