Arrived home at about 04:30. Luckily I hadn't stripped the bed before leaving this time so I immediately went to bed and slept until about 09:00. Cleared a bit of space in my room and storage spaces and emptied the car into them. I'll have to do an awful lot of sorting before it's even slightly tidy. Then I'll have to start reactivating the 250 deactivated ads I have online as well as adding at least a hundred more because I must have bought about fifty items of clothing over the summer.
Spent an hour cutting back trees in the garden with electric secateurs. Didn't make much of a dent in the work. There doesn't seem to have been a drought here. I don't think I have ever seen such rapid growth in my garden, trees that were only a metre high when I left are closer to four metres tall now. Luckily a lot of that is rapid growth in length but not so much in girth so electric secateurs are enough to cut them back.
Haven't started on these yet. See the tall birch stump to the right? Both the trees were shorter than that when I left.
