Got up later than usual, about nine thirty. I slept but I don't feel rested. Waiting for a response from my brother in law to the email I sent yesterday is stressful.

To add to the stress, or as a result of it, just now I almost sent an email to my sons signed as Nina.

Seen on my stroll today in Hook.

I just like the straight lines of the rails. Taken from the bridge over the railway at Hook station!

A milestone in need of maintenance

The least showy Catholic church I have ever seen

I've never seen an anti-litter notice quite like this one

Seen from this angle this carved and painted tree stump looks a bit suggestive to me. At least I think it's a tree stump, perhaps I'll take a closer look another day.

@Bonnie70 Thank you Bonnie. I don't think there is anything anyone can do. I just have to wait to see how things develop. I need to stop thinking about it, after all there is nothing for me to do until I either get a response or wait so long that I have to conclude none is forthcoming.

Time to go out for a walk. I'm taking a day off from any proper sightseeing today, just going to stroll around the the village.
