Decided catch the bus to Totnes but I couldn't find the stop that was supposed to be opposite the entrance to the holiday park. So I walked towards Dartmouth until I found one. That meant missing the first bus but luckily there was another twenty minutes later.
As we approached the holiday park I saw two people waiting beside the road opposite the entrance. It seems that the stop is there despite there being neither a shelter nor a sign.
Got to Totnes at 10:45 and took a stroll over the river to the Riverside Café where I'm having a mocha and an almond and apricot "tart".

@22Michelle Well, yes. But is it really slutty? I mean there were plenty of girls (GGs) in Totnes showing more flesh; shorts that are as short as knickers so they show more leg than I do with waistbands lower on the hips than my skirts so they show more belly.
But there were also plenty in long flowing dresses, wide trousers, etc. This is the South West, quite a bit more bohemian in places than most of Scotland I think :-)
There is still a bit of the hippy in many of us down here.
Mind you I was similarly skimpily dressed in Glasgow and Fife and no one seemed bothered. And Chloe who ran the place I stayed in in Buckhaven seemed quite taken with how I dressed.
What I'm clumsily trying to say is that while I have no objection to the compliment (I'm sure you know by now how much I love being complimented) I do wonder if, in most places, most people might not see the outfit that way.
Bougatsa and Greek Mountain tea in Brutus Stone Kitchen. The tea tastes mostly of mint.
Before that I went to the civic centre where I waited for ages while the guy at the counter chatted for ages with another customer. Gave up in the end. This Greek place is more interesting anyway.
On the way to the Bay Horse I visited several charity shops. In BHF I bought a cord mini trimmed with fake sheepskin and a pair of earrings that I think go well with today's green theme
The Mansion is a community centre with a small book swap shelf and lots of paintings for sale. I don't often see minor art works that attract me enough to think I might consider buying but I did quite like Alan Chisholm's paintings of birds
These planters are full of edible plants. I presume the idea is that anyone who wants some can just take them although there were no signs that I could see saying so.
Taken from the bridge. This bridge is the first bridge on the Dart. From here to Dartmouth ten miles downstream there are no bridges and the river is not fordable.
