I think I'm going to add something to my Fabguys.com profile and also try to enforce a behavioural change in myself.
It often happens that someone will contact me and ask to meet and then we start a conversation which slowly negotiates the time and place. But very often people, perhaps for good reasons, don't reply very quickly. This results in me being in a situation where I'm waiting for a reply from one person while another two or three contact me asking to meet. No I feel that I should wait until the first has answered, especially if we have got so far as to agree a day but not an exact time.
I think for my own sanity I will have to start being more decisive even if it definitely results in less sex because the 'cost' (time and effort) is getting too much and making me feel stressed at times.
So what I'm think is this: I will inform anyone who asks to meet that they are probably not the only person asking to meet and that the first person to commit to a time and date will win.
It's more intended to be a constraint on me than them, that is I want to be required to be less forgiving. I need a rule because I am bad at doing things ad hoc, I get lost in a maze of conflicting feelings of duty.
