I visited Aviemore to charge my car. Again not out of necessity, I had enough to get back to Perth, but as insurance against unexpected detours and delays. There is a 2 km wide wildfire still burning about 6 km east of Aviemore near Ryvoan Bothy and risk of more fires all over the area.

Here are some pictures of Aviemore Station, it serves both Scotrail and the Strathspey Railway steam railway.

I didn't get around to posting much yesterday as I was busy searching for places to stay for the next two weeks

Here's the outfit, the weather was quite cool, maximum of 16 C, so I wore a light jumper and jacket for a walk around Kingussie in the afternoon

At street level north of the water feature is a sculpture of an osprey (?) above a wishing well.

When I got back to Kingussie I pottered about online for a while but decided that I hadn't walked enough so I followed one of the trails around the edge of the town. A pleasant walk.
