Just finishing up checking out. Then I'm off to the Cairngorms for the weekend. Haven't planned where to go after that though, that will have to be the first thing I do when I get to Kingussie.

In the WILLIAM café again, waiting for Huevos Rotos and an Americano.

Left my car at the Queen Margaret Residences and walked here via the Botanic Gardens. The hot houses open at 10:00 and I got there at 10:04, there were a dozen people in the tree fern Kibble Palace already and outside there were already people sitting on the lawn. It's very encouraging to see such a glorious place so well kept and so popular.

In the Kibble there are a number of statues. Here's one that I rather like because of the expression on her face. I was rather confused when I read the associated label where she is described as weird. But Scottish English is not identical with mine from the south where weird now just means odd, nonconformist (not in the technical religious sense).

So what does it mean here and is this a current usage or an older description copied to a new label?
