Had a very enjoyable morning, th write up will be on the Naughty Blog later. Then I went for a walk around Sutton in Craven. One thing I like about this part of the country is the number of footpaths. Not just in the countryside but between the houses in the towns. We have much less of that in the south. I wonder if that is because the pace and rhythm of social and industrial change was different.

Today's outfit started with the white muslin dress that I have never dared wear out in public

But that was just for the indoor event. Afterwards I changed to this to go for a walk.

I'd better start putting sun lotion on, the forecast is for hot weather. BBC Weather says medium UV tomorrow and high on Tuesday.

@ninalanyon I tend to withdraw from it. I'm indoors now after a walk to the shops half a mile or so away, and my computer is in the coolest room in the house.

@ArishMell It's not quite that hot up here in the Peak District, only amber warning according to the BBC when I was listening to Radio 4 a bit earlier.

Maximum temperature according to the forecast is only 24 C today.
