No WiFi on my travels today.
Went to Shrewsbury thinking that I'd have another look around the museum and gallery as the place I parked last time is unrestricted on Sundays so I'd have enough time to have a proper wander around. I should have checked the website because it' closed on Sundays.
Can someone explain to me why a museum should be open on weekdays when people are at work and closed on Sundays which is the day that the largest number of people have free?
So I wandered around Shrewsbury instead just enjoying the architecture and ambience. Eventually i thought I should have a snack so I went to the Masovia Craft Bakery at Wyle Cop.
I had a pizza bread deluxe and a mocha.
Had to laugh as the mocha was delivered. The cute Eastern European assistant (the bakery is Polish but she really didn't sound quite Polish to me) had filled the cup to the brim and was trying hard not to spill the coffee, hanging on to it with both hands and an expression of intense concentration on her face that blossomed into a delightful smile as she succeeded in putting it down on my table without spilling a drop, just a very tiny dribble down the side :-)
They have fifteen varieties of cream cakes and cheesecakes, at least eight different pastries and more sponge cakes. I think you could have a different cake or pastry every day for nearly a month.
