Nina's Blog - Sunday 7th June 2026

Sunday 7th June 2026, 13:42

Feeling a bit better today but still moving slowly. Only managed to get dressed just before noon. Now it's close to two in the afternoon and I'm only a hundred metres from the cottage having a doughnut and a large Americano at the Furnace Kitchen beside the Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron.

@skimpyboy Thank you! I think they are my best feature so I'm showing them off as much as I can before age catches up with me!

@skimpyboy Have you looked at my Naughty Blog? Plenty more leg to be seen there, all the way up. :-)

For instance:
- If you like stockings: https://similarworlds.com/social/blogs/5590410-Ninas-Naughty-Blog-Friday-5th-June-2026
- or bare legs: https://similarworlds.com/social/blogs/5589576-Ninas-Naughty-Blog-Thursday-4th-June-2026

And lots more, including naughtier ones and some too naughty to show publicly but available to anyone who asks.

Some pictures taken on my circuitous route from the cottage to the café.

I wonder how many of the locals voted for Brexit?

Just browsing The Guardian and saw this:

Jakupovic was referring to the comic book Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which depicts the lives of four turtles who live in the New York City sewer system. The turtles, who are brothers, were exposed to radioactive waste as youths, which turned them into human-turtle hybrids. Trained in martial arts by a large rat, the turtles fight New York criminals. The story is not based on real events.

I'm not sure what to make of: The story is not based on real events.

Why was it necessary to mention that, surely no one could think it was? Or was it a feeble attempt at being witty?

In the grounds of the museum before the café. It's all a bit sanitised.
