Having a pleasant Saturday so far. Took a long way round to the town centre along the river, very pleasant.
Eventually arrived at the charity shop that I mentioned on Thursday and had another long chat with the young lady volunteer. She is very interested in my life and I have had more conversation with her about trans issues and my own experience than I have had with anyone who I wasn't sharing a bed with.
So now she knows that I have one night stands with men and I know that she hates the idea of sleeping on silk sheets :-)
But she forgot to bring in the skirt that started the whole conversation on Thursday. She did pick out another that she was convinced would fit me but it was a denim skirt buttoned up the front. It fits her and she was adamant that a size ten would fit me which is very flattering.
As we came to the end of the conversation she said that the young man who was working there on Thursday who had also joined in the conversation had been inspired by me to plan a corner of their new shop with a few easy chairs for people to sit at and chat.
She mentioned that they would provide coffee and I said there must be biscuits too. This led me to tell her about the McVities Rich Tea television advert. It's possible that I'm misremembering it but I told her it went like this:
How much have I misremembered?
Anyway this led her to say that she prefers digestives. I said Rich Tea are good with butter and she replied that she made them into sandwiches with butter.
I said she should get on and earn her keep, but that as she was a volunteer she wasn't being paid anyway and I said I should go and get some breakfast. She laughed, pointed out that it was already one o'clock and went on to recommend the Coffee with Art café. So that's where I am now having a brie and bacon panini and mocha. The mocha is average but the panini is better than average especially as it comes with salad and crisps. Definitely better value than the Green Earth Café on Thursday

A man has been arrested and is being interviewed in a police interview room. The policeman offers him a cup of tea and he asks if there is a biscuit. The policeman offers a Rich Tea and somehow the slogan A drink's too wet without one is added to the scene.
How much have I misremembered?
