In the student café having a kanelknute and coffee.

It's more of a refectory than a café really.

Delivered my car to Tesla to get the steering fixed. I thought it might take much longer to drive there than because of having to take much more care than usual but it only took about ten minutes longer than usual.

So now I have to kill time until 16:00. At least that's the predicted finishing time.

Yesterday was glorious sunshine but today there isn't a scrap of blue sky to be seen and it's only 8 C so I'm glad I decided to wear my long tartan skirt instead of the short one!

As almost always happens I've just had a call from Tesla asking me to approve a new cost estimate. Higher of course.

And I've taken so many pictures today that my mobile is down to 20% and I forgot to bring a powerbank with me.

Better turn off everything I don't need in case I need to buy a bus ticket to get home.

I strolled very slowly from Tesla into town as I have so much time. Took a slightly different route from usual so I have lots of pictures to post already. Most will have to wait until I get home but here's a few of the earliest ones.

This subway (that's what a footpath that runs under a road is called where I come from) goes under the main road by a school

Car fixed. But I've been informed that the brake disks need replacing. That will have to wait until I get to the UK, or possibly until I get home at the end of the summer. I'll try to find a bit of straight road with no traffic and do a couple of hard stops to see how it feels

And my new residence card arrived today. You can clearly see I'm wearing earrings in the picture but sadly it's black and white so the lipstick isn't visible.

Next Wednesday I'll get the summer tyres put on and then it will be time to book the ferry. I was wondering whether to take the ferry to the northern tip of Denmark as I usually do or to take an overnight ferry to Copenhagen. But Oslo-Copenhagen is just a few kroner under twice the price of Larvik-Hirtshals. Plus arriving in Copenhagen means either driving over the Storebælt bridge which costs 205 DKK or taking the ferry to Puttgarden which costs at least 53 EUR.

I think I'll save the money and sleep in the car instead of sleeping on the boat. Total journey time from home to Hamburg is about the same.
