The usual Sunday of cooking,eating, drinking, and video watching. We watched The Martian today. I had read the book some time ago and enjoyed it, except for the outrageous initial reason for the disaster. I'm generally sceptical of screen adaptations of books, especially science fiction, but this worked pretty well. I think the only thing wrong (apart from the shockingly poor MacGuffin) was that there wasn't a very good impression of the amount of time that Mark Watney spent on Mars.
