I wonder if anyone else has this problem:
- I have to wrap an item to send through the post
- I have two cardboard boxes, one that I bought and one that was the container for a computer delivered to me a long time ago.
- the first is the more suitable
- but because I actually paid for that one I feel more reluctant to use it.
I don't mean does anyone have exactly this problem, but problems of this general type; that paying for something makes it more valuable to you than something that came to you at no cost even though they are strictly equivalent and neither has any sentimental value.
