I sold two things yesterday so I had parcels to post. I successfully resisted the temptation to go out driving to post office and visiting a cafe. Turned out it was just the right thing to do because today I've sold another item and wrapped it up. The deadline for taking them to the post office is 14th so I have plenty of time to do it. I really should get into the habit of delaying sending parcels so that I make fewer trips with more parcels. I've sold very roughly a parcel every two days so if I go out just once a week I should have about three or four parcels each time.
It's quite cold today, -9 C at the moment with a northerly breeze making it feel colder, -14 C according to yr.no. But I went out anyway. Here's the outfit
Well we're only around -6C to -11C, but the bigger issue is the snow that's not stopped since 2026 started. As I picked up some bug on the 31st today was my first go at shovelling said snow. Snow being knee to thigh high and me still not 100% I'm feeling rather knackered, and there's plenty left to shovel tomorrow. Heard this evening the army are being called in as things are that bad. Anyway, Happy New Year and I hope you're having a better time than me.
@22Michelle I HOPE you wife is getting better and you are getting to dress again. I am taking advantage of living alone and dressing a lot more for my personal pleasure.
@ninalanyon In my youth yes they would seem normal winter temperatures. However, given the changes we've seen in the past several years it's been a bit of a surprise.
@turbineman40 No, she's not getting better and that's ot going to happen. It's a question of how fast she gets worse. Good to hear you're joying dressing more now. It is so wonderful to be the person you want to be.
@turbineman40 Almost. I still don't wear a bra at home, when I'm with my sons. I just put it on when I#m going to be going out of the village for the day.
