A very quiet day here. Not just in my house but in the area generally, hardly anyone moving.
No. 1 son will cook something simple today and we have lots of leftover mince pies, cheesecake, and stollen for desserts and snacks so I have nothing to do. Except for the everlasting mountain of stuff I'm trying to get rid of but can't bear to see just dumped. So I've spent some time listing things online; and eating mince pies
Today's outfit is a bit miscellaneous, but still with a lot of red. I think I might add the blouse to the list of things to discard.

Diaries are strange things. Defined sometimes by what they don't record. For instance I'm not sure I have ever mentioned on SW what I'm reading. Yet it is something that I have done almost every day since I was taught to read at the age of four by my mother. These days I mostly read for half an hour in bed before going to sleep.
So perhaps I'll make the occasional note regarding books the books I'm reading. Probably all I'll bother noting will be the author and title.
