Had to go out today to get ingredients for Sunday and a replacement hydrometer. So I used that as an excuse to visit a shop that often has unusual things remaindered from other places at low prices and also things marked down because they are near the use by date. Wasn't much of interest, bought a couple of packets of jalapeno flavoured maize snacks and some nearly out of date ham. It's a bit of a deceptive shop though because apart from the short dated stuff it also sells the normal range of foods that other supermarkets carry but often at a higher price.
Found a hydrometer, I'll try to look after this one better.
