On the way from Odense to Aarhus I stopped to top up the car. When I unplugged and wanted to drive away the car announced that it wasn't going anywhere because the key wasn't in the car. I immediately thought that the key battery must be flat so I plugged the car back in while I replaced it but that didn't help. Had a bit of a panicky feeling then. Eventually it occurred to me to turn the car off and back on. That fixed it. This sort of thing doesn't exactly inspire confidence!

Last food stop before the ferry, Having coffee and cake
The ferry departs at 22:30 and I have to be there at least an hour before sailing, 21:30. So if I allow forty minutes to charge my car at the Tesla charger before the ferry that's 20:50. The drive is about an hour so I have to leave here no later than 19:50. IKEA Aalborg closes at 19:00 anyway so it looks like I'll end up leaving at least an hour earlier than necessary. That means I can charge the car enough to get almost all the way home.
I'm not sure how I feel about being home again. This summer has been so full of incident that I wonder if getting up in the morning with no particular place to visit, sight to see, or destination to drive to might feel a little odd.

Decided to have my main meal at IKEA Aarhus instead of waiting until I get to Aalborg just in case I get there too late. So I'm having fish and chips.
But I'd forgotten that IKEA Aarhus now has the stupid screen ordering system that McDonald's, etc. use. I swear it takes longer to get the food than in the rest of the IKEA restaurants.

@ninalanyon really love the jewellery and the jeans skirt!

@being Thank you. I have several denim skirts, this is best made one. Designed as a skirt instead of made from an old pair of jeans.
Here's a closer view of one bracelet
