The weather forecast says total cloud cover all day. But in fact there are just a few wisps of high cirrus cloud and and fairly bright sunshine. My window faces east, perhaps all the cloud is to the west of me just now.

Supposedly no rain today but it said that yesterday and I left my umbrella behind; I'll take it with me today just in case. The forecast is also for stronger gusts today so I'll take the hat with a string.

It certainly is to the West of you! Thick overcast here in SW England, after sunshine and patchy clouds yesterday.

It's clouding over to the eat of me too now. Sun's almost obscured.
