Slept in the car last night, might book a hotel for tonight and tomorrow. Not sure how that will work without a function mobile though, I've become so used to it working that way that I'm not sure what will happen without it.
Managed to book a place to stay tonight about 25 km north west of Hamburg. Booking,com didn't ask to confirm the purchase with my bank; perhaps because it was less than a hundred pounds? Anyway I'm glad I didn't have the complication of trying to use my UK banking app because when I opened it I found that it was asking for my credentials and they are stored on my laptop which was in the car at the time, must sort that out soon.
Got into my Norwegian banking app on the old mobile very easily because the bank supplies a code generator that I keep on my key ring.
I'll have to look for a new mobile when I get home to replace the Moto G30. I' also wondering whether I should replace the battery in the old G5+ that I'm using now because it has proven very handy and apart from the battery is in perfect condition, not so much as a scratch on the screen. However there are more and more apps that won't run on it, in particular Google Wallet. So is it really worth the price of the new battery and also the risk that I break it in the process?
Today's outfit has been difficult to photograph. First it was too dark, then too windy, then my old mobile's already dodgy battery died after less than five minutes from 100%. Finally got it at IKEA Brinkum
