On the Brittany Ferry Barfleur en route from Poole, about two hours to go to Cherbourg.
The ticket says that Irish time is used on board and I think they have that dead right because one of the announcements on board said that the ship uses British time, very Irish.
Here's today's outfit in rubbish pictures taken with my Lenovo Chromebook. Only get on hour of free WiFi per device so I'll use this until the WiFi runs out and then my mobile.
IKEA Caen is on my route to Nouvelle Aquitaine so I decided to stop for dinner. But the restaurant had no hot food and hardly anything else either. So I'm having an American coffee and a cheese twist. Very odd.
There was a warning when I connected saying that various services such as streaming, etc. were blocked including SW downloads and updates. :-) That was momentarily disconcerting!
In one of the lounges on the Barfleur was a big display case with a glass piece in it. As far as I could see there were no labels so I have no idea if it was of some significance or was just intended as decoration
@ninalanyon Maybe there was a competition to name the piece. I think I would have submitted an entry and asked when the the winner would be announced, and what the prize would be. Make enougb fuss and get others to enter just for fun.
