The forecast today says that it's only 10 C and won't get warmer than 14 C here today. But it will be cloudless all day with not more than a light breeze. So perhaps I can wear a miniskirt after all. I should have a more thorough look for my silk jacket too because I can wear a cardigan under that.

There is a pub in Old Town that everyone has always called the Roaring Donkey. By always a I mean for a century or more. The name on the front was The Rising Sun.

I was surprised today to see that it has now changed name to agree with what people call it. I'm not sure whether to be pleased that the name now accords with what people call it or displeased that a small talking point has now been removed.
