In the lounge at the Tesla Centre, Exeter, while the car charges. Much more comfortable than stopping at the motorway services. And the tea, coffee, and Biscoff biscuits are free.

Just had an email from my sister's husband. I won't go into the painful details but essentially I'm banned from visiting. I don't agree with everything that they say about me but I can see that I'm not entirely blameless. So that's it. No blood relatives left in my life. Except my sons of course. There are distant cousins I've never met of course but that's no help. Edit: on reflection that's not quit true, I have a couple of half uncles (if that's the right term, half brothers of my mother) but we have never been close and haven't seen each other for decades.

In a way I'm not really surprised and in a very, very, small way I'm relieved that the decision is made as things weren't really working anyway.
