I've been complimented on my outfit twice this afternoon!
First in the YMCA charity shop. The manageress walked past me and said "You're looking rather fabulous!" and a few minutes later as I was walking down Torquay road towards the sea a woman with a greyhound actually ran up to me and said she just had to stop me and say "Your ensemble is so nice, just perfect, beautiful!". She was dressed in muted greens and browns but had obviously put some thought into her outfit too. She only needed a suitable hat and a bow to have fitted in with Robin Hood's Merry Men.
So I say to all you girls who are hiding in drab: get out there in something striking. As the late Vivienne Westwood said: "When in doubt, dress up!".
And by girls I don't just mean crossdressers, I mean girls of every type, gender, sexuality, etc. All those clothes that are just gathering dust waiting for the next grand occasion should be worn without an occasion, they will make the occasion for you!
Just looked at my legs. Such a lot of hair! I do hope no one has noticed. I'll have to rummage in my car to find my lady shaver. The hair is too long for the Braun Series 5 that I use for shaving my face. It wouldn't be so bad if the hair on my legs was grey like my facial hair and what hair I have left on my head. But it's as dark as my ponytail was fifty years ago!
