There's an amazing car Museum in Coventry

@meggie I know. :-)
Went there years ago when we rented a 70' narrowboat to do the Warwickshire Ring with our children, when they were children. We tied up the boat in the Coventry Canal Basin and from there it's a ten minute walk to the museum. Took us a couple of minute loner because as we were walking from the boat to the exit of the canal basin we were stopped by a policeman who wanted to know why the children were out of school. We just explained that it was school holidays in Norway where we live and he seemed satisfied. We were rather surprised by this, since when did it become a police matter? It certainly wasn't, and isn't in Norway.
Anyway, back to the museum. It is a good museum and the children enjoyed it very much. I'm not sure my wife found it quite as interesting though :-)
