Are you still based in Leigh ? Leeds is a wonderful City with many places to visit and sure it will be a full day for you and can see already a lovely selection of pics and hope you have a good time with your friends and the earrings are lovely
I'm not here just for the museum, I'm hoping to meet a friend at the LFF at 14:00.
So what I'm wearing matters. While queueing for coffee in the museum the young lady behind me complimented me on my earrings
And here's the rest of the outfit. I was going to wear the same red outfit as at Ulverston Pride but decided instead to wear the blue dress I bought yesterday
@22Michelle It was good. It was interesting to hear how varied, and how similar, everyone's experiences of dressing are. I was very pleased to hear from most of the girls that reactions from most members of the public have been almost always overwhelmingly positive. I just took part in what turned out to a be a sort of genteel pub crawl, starting at 14:00 and going on until just before 20:00 when they all went off to dinner and I started walking back to my hotel, about an hour's walk which I shortened to half an hour by catching the bus.
I'm quite glad that I hadn't been organized enough to pay the deposit for dinner, I'm not really an evening or late night person. The whole event goes on until 04:00 with dancing. All that sort of thing is usually too loud for me, I prefer to talk without having to raise my voice.
Originally thought I'd need to take the bus from Hinsley Hall to the centre but it's a very gentle forty five minute stroll to the City Museum. It'll be slightly more effort on the way back because it's uphill.
@turbineman40 It's easy when one is privileged to have enough time, money, and health. But as I travel around the UK I see that the division between those who have this freedom and those who don't seems to be getting wider. In Norway if you see someone begging it is almost always someone from outside the country but in the UK it is almost always someone more local.
