I've been driving everywhere in the last few days and neglecting to walk. So today I decided that I really should see a bit more of Leigh. I've taken a very circuitous route from the Greyhound to the Tea Junction where I'm having a small breakfast with a mug of tea.

Vert good value at 4 GBP.

I've just started listening to a BBC Crowd Science episode called How did the moon affect the dinosaurs?" And a newspaper style cartoon came to mind that 'exp;lained' why at least the tall ones went extinct. But I can't find it. The basic premise was that the moon is moving further way from the earth at a fairly steady rate and if you calculate the altitude of the moon back when there were dinosaurs it was only at head height so all the tall dinosaurs got their heads knocked off.

Yes I know it's internally inconsistent as well as totally ridiculous but it made me smile and I'd like to find a copy.
