Nina's Blog - Saturday 19th July 2025

As you know I have an account on Fabguys.com as well. Today I uploaded half a dozen pictures there as I do most days. This time I decided that they would be mostly not explicitly sexual and i was rather surprised that five of the six were rejected.

What do you think?

This is the only one of the six that was approved.

I was going to take it easy today but the excuse for staying in this area is to visit the Re-f-use café in Front Street, Chester-le-Street.

So I've just walked five kilometres to get here. Arrived slightly damp a few minutes ago.

The forecast said rain after 13:00 but it came two hours early. Quite light though and very little wind so my brolly keeps most of it off me.

I don't mind getting wet but it's an hour's walk back to the flat I've rented for the week so I hope the wind doesn't get up too much or it will be a little chilly.

Having a quite good mocha and a nice slice of teabread with butter.

The café is part of a charitable effort to reduce food waste and help people who need cheap food.

It's a lively place that looks like it's thriving. It's good that it's helping people but rather a shame that there's so much discarded food that it's practical.

Stopped at a Premier shop on the way back to the flat. As I was walking to the till there was a young man buying some beer and swearing about something. He had a friend who told him to stop swearing. What he actually said was "Stop swearing, there's a lady behind you." :-)

I thought that was interesting, not just because it seems that I sometimes pass as female if people are not looking too closely but also because it suggests that swearing isn't yet as normalized as I thought it was, that at least some people think it inappropriate to swear in the hearing of women of a certain age. :-)

Just about to go to bed but my mobile pinged. Got a message on Fabguys.com from a man in Washington wanting to meet me. What is it with people in the UK who hand you their post code as though that is enough information to take you to their door? His is NE38 0EQ in which are 51 addresses (44 houses and 7 flats) according to https://www.bricksandlogic.co.uk/place/postcode/ne38-0eq

Seen on my way back to the flat from the cafe

Then there is an underpass under the main road. It is surprisingly free of tagging

It is tagged, but officially I think

The painter?

And at last I'm in Ouston, still a little way to go but not far now

Today's outfit reveals a bit less flesh.
