Almost finished dressing. But pride doesn't really start until at least 10:00. So should I put my stockings on now which means wearing shoes of some kind at least or wait until later. I can't wear 90 mm heels all day

I think I'll go out to my car and fetch my flats first. Should I carry my heels with me or come back to the hotel later to get them.

The forecast is for a maximum of 17 C with about half a millimetre of rain per hour.

@ninalanyon The curse of dressing, you always want just one more pair of shoes, a dress, a top, skirt, bra, panties.......and oh look they've got it in red.....and purple!!!!!

@22Michelle I know. Sometime soon I'm going to have to review my UK bank account and see if I'm holiday expenses are exceeding my UK state pension income. Or more likely, by how much it's exceeding it.

Bought a pair of magnetic brooches yesterday for 7.00 GBP. I just can't resist the charity shops. I did resist the temptation to buy a pair of earrings that I found in the same shop though. I would set a budget for how much I can spend on such things but I know that I would never stick to it.

@ninalanyon Like the brooches. And yes, it is so difficult to resist, esoevialky in charity shops where the prices ard do low - which means you can buy two....or three.....and how much for a trailer for that extra luggage? Get one second hand?
Seriously. I've had this conversation with my wife. When I was buying clothes etc., as the guy I used to be I'd easily resist spending too much. Now, the girly things are just so lovely who can resist.
Yesterday, killing time in the car (pissing rain) waiting to go swimming my wife and I were looking at a shoe sale online. We did managed to resist....until last night when I ordered a pair!
