🎶Oh,No it's raining again...🎶

I try to stay positive
But, some days I want to ditch the insulin.
Throw the CGM away.
If it turns out I'm diabetic 1 -
Everything changes.
The clues point to a good maybe, but my mind can't completely accept that yet.
The blood test in early May will determine which type I have.
Despite the lack of certainty in diagnosis, I have been reading a lot and listening to a lot of podcasts about DT1; some of it is quite overwhelming.
DT1 and DT2 are different in treatments, strategies, equipment, and have different root causes.
If the diagnosis is type 1- I'll have to be re-educated on everything.

Most days I'm okay.
My mind goes from saying "No way" to deciding what insulin pump I should get in advance.
In some ways diabetes 1 seems more straightforward.
Take insulin and live.
Diabetes 2 is wrapped up in pills, diet, carbs ,etc...
It's definitely going to be a learning curve

@Justmeraeagain I really hope it isn't type 1. Although I know people who live long lives with type 1.

I have not had much luck managing my diabetes 2.
So,if it has to be, hopefully it will be manged better
Since taking insulin my AC1 one has gone down to 6.8 from 11 when I ended up in hospital.
When my old primary doctor took me off meal insulin I got high sugar alerts 3 times a week.
Those are gone now that the insulin been reinstated.

@Justmeraeagain May God bless and watch over you. Fortunately Ozempic keeps me A1C at 5.8.
