🎶I've Got High Hopes...🎶

A bit disappointed with morning blood sugar numbers.
My diabetic educator says I shouldn't get hung up on them, because they level quickly and I am in range most of the day.
So trying to relax without relapsing back into bad habits.

I'm taking a higher dosage of Mounjaro and for the first time in my life I have to make myself eat.

I'm back to taking the short acting insulin before breakfast only 3 units.
This way I'm hoping not to spike up too high after eating breakfast.

The nausea was worse and lasted longer, this time, but it's starting to disappear now.

I'm hoping all that I'm doing will put me back on the road to good health.

I feel for you my son has been in this battle for 20 years and has just recently become stabilized. Thankfully. It has cost him part of his foot, but even that is finally healing. Diabetes is nothing to play with. God bless.

@djscott my mom lost all the toes on her left foot.
My sister in law a leg.
It's a terrible disease and not easily controlled.
Glad your son was able to stabilize.
