At IKEA having breakfast. The excuse for coming out today is that I have to take my car to the car glass place to have them check the windscreen. I don't know if they will be able to replace it today, probably not.

And it turns out all the effort I expended getting pictures of the crack was wasted. The insurance company doesn't care; their website just directed me to their partner car glass fitter which has a form to book an appointment and they submit claim to the insurer.

While I was eating my breakfast I had a call from the car glass workshop asking if I could deliver the car early. That was quite handy really so I bolted the remains of my cheese and ham roll and set off and delivered the car an hour early.

While it was being done I walked into town, bought a mini-skirt in a charity shop, had coffee and cheesecake, took some pictures. It's a bright day but with a cool northerly breeze so I wore a silk windcheater over my jumper.

Now I'm 3 000 NOK (220 GBP, 290 USD) poorer but at least there's no crack in the windscreen any more. I have no idea how much it actually costs, the workshop sends the invoice directly to the insurance company and collects the egenandel, that's the same as excess in the UK; is that copay in US or does that only apply to medical expenses?

Got home half an hour ago and now I'm editing a few pictures to post on SW.

Today's outfit is a skirt that comes down almost to my knees, a nice jumper, silk windcheater, wide brimmed purple hat.
