When things go well
I don’t like thinking about certain things.
Life is always a convoluted mess.
The more complicated something can be.
The more it turns out that way.
Shifting perspectives, changing parts of yourself to adapt.
Even if only temporarily.
Results in entirely different experiences.
People rarely ask themselves what changes.
They rarely put questions to a hypothesis.
They rarely put those hypotheses through a series of tests.
And even more rare is when others witness these endeavors firsthand.
There were two sides of the coin today.
And for both sides I gained a witness.
During the bad parts.
And during the good parts.
It was nice to make someone laugh again, to the point that they can’t stop. Good.
It was nice to make someone laugh again, to the point that they can’t stop. Bad.
