🎶This is The Land Of Confusion 🎶

Had a virtual appointment with my diabetic educator and she's really helping me navigate through the obstacles of being diabetic on insulin.

Because, my morning numbers are still high she gave me the advice to try and eat a carb/protein snack around 9 pm.
Not too high in carbs no more than 20 grams and ,of course, healthy food, not junk food.
Diabetics ,whose numbers are controlled throughout the day ,but are high in the morning seem to have better morning numbers when they do this.

It's not about no carbs or extremely low carb, it's about Blood Sugar control, portion control, and combination of good carbs , protein, and fiber.
Limiting refined sugars and avoiding,as much as it is possible, ultra processed foods.

And Exercise -*groan*
Thank goodness you can break it up and still get the benefits of 30 minutes a day.
I chose 10 minutes-3 times a day.
I'm trying to work up to 15 minutes two times a day, but I'm kind of weak ,still.

I confessed to her that I'm an all or nothing type and she reassured me that being a little late with a meal or going over a couple carbs isn't going to derail the whole process.
So, hopefully, I'll relax enough not to drive myself bonkers.

Anyway, so grateful for the professionals I have on my care team.
