Almost the only snow left in the village is on the ice rink

A hundred metres further on my walk I saw a big inflatable Santa

It was about 5 C and almost windless, hardly like winter at all, and no ice on the fjord, not even in the calm water of the marina


Here you can see the boats out of the water

I heard a rumbling and looked south down the fjord to see a small ship threading its way along the dredged channel between the navigation lights

A couple of minutes later it went past the small pebble beach
