🎶Can the lonely take the place of you?🎶

My sister is finding out what deep depression is.
She use to say she couldn't understand it.
Of course,her depression has an understandable cause.
Her love is gone and can't return to her.

My depression hasn't always had a direct cause and I use to find myself getting impatient with people,my sister,too, whom I felt refused to acknowledge clinical depression was more than just "feeling sorry for one's self"

Now,I just wish she wouldn't have ever learned what a deep dark pit depression can be.
It be better just to accept the fact she wasn't going to understand, because who'd want anyone they love to experience it?

I don't want her to have this pain.
Nobody can take it away and there is no choice but to keep moving forward as much as possible.

She's going to get individual grief counseling,she tried group and didn't like it or find helpful.

I’m so sorry Rae. I wouldn’t wish depression on anyone, even those who have dismissed it. I sincerely hope she finds her light again.

I am not a great believer in grief counselling, you have to find your inner strength to move forward

@nedkelly @Gibbon
I guess she feels she needs it

@Justmeraeagain I'm not saying she shouldn't try. I was just agreeing with Ned on dealing with my own grief experience. There are many on the grief site that feel counseling has helped them. To me it really depends on the patient counselor interaction.

@Justmeraeagain yes, some need guidance and some prefer soul searching - whatever helps your sister

I will definitely pray for the both of you. 🙏🙏🙏
