6y. My first day in school. 1 September 2001. I cried because my parents left me for the first lesson. 11 September 2001 we are having a family dinner at grandma's. A relative came to us from Kyiv and suddenly we see on TV news how a plane crashes into a tower in New York. I will remember this evening forever.

I thought 11 September 2001 was a Tuesday, which would make 1 September 2001 a Saturday. What were you doing in school on a Saturday?

@MaryDreamilton obviously I don't remember the exact date, it would be more correct to write the first day of school

@andrews095 Assuming it was the first Monday in September (it used to be when I was in school) it would be September 3rd in that year. It doesn't take a genius to work it out once you know what day of the week one date is.
