Went out for a walk this morning. Took my lipstick with me. This is the first time I have walked around the village with lipstick on. It's also the first time for what seems like ages. I've become so accustomed to wearing it that I take care not to brush my lips with my sleeve or hands and if I do I'm always surprised if I don't encounter any.
On my way back from the walk I stopped at the Tesco Express to buy a small bag of potatoes for dinner. But I noticed a shelf full of punnets of strawberries marked down because the best before date is today. They looked in good condition so i bought a punnet, two packets of brioche buns (nearest thing i can find to a Cornish split), and a small tub of Rodda's clotted cream. There was already strawberry jam in the fridge. So here is my breakfast
