Nina's Blog - Thursday 13th June 2024

Friday 14th June 2024, 14:00

Another retrospective post, didn't have time and privacy to post on Thursday.

No trips anywhere yesterday although I did do 10 000 steps because my sister asked me to go with her to walk the dog in the afternoon in addition to my usual morning walk.

Here are a few pictures from the morning walk:

The local C of E church

An old grave in the grounds. The churchyard is no longer used for burials and I suspect that this grave is hust used as a convenient flowerbed rather than being tended by relatives of the person interred there

A few minutes walk away is the local cemetery which is still in use despite the impression one might get from this picture

On the way back from my walk I dropped in to one of the two charity shops in this little town and bought this. A poor substitute for what I had two weeks ago.

I also bought another pair of shorts. When the woman serving me in the charity shop saw them she remarked that they were very short. To which i replied that it would be summer soon, somewhere. We commiserated over the weather. It turns out we are both in a sense foreigners here, she is from Edinburgh and I think after more than half a lifetime there I can now say I'm from Norway despite having been born in this county.

I have to be careful when I sit down in these or I show my undies.
