I love the way you slow travel. And I also love boat trips, it's been a while for me... Have you arrived already Nina ?
@SW-User Yes, I have arrived. Well I've arrived at my first stop which is Canterbury for three nights. My travel is slower than flying but although I'm not rushing I don't stop along the way to see the sights. This time I did the journey rather faster than usual in fact! I usually take three days for the journey from Norway to the UK but this time I skipped several stops and instead of sleeping for eight hours overnight I only slept for about five. I compensated for the lack of sleep by napping while my car was charging instead of going for a walk as I usually do.
Perhaps on my next summer holiday I'll spend a week or two on the journey and actually stop for a day or two in some of the scenic places that I keep on driving past.
