There is a couple with a small child, perhaps 18 months old, sitting at a table about six metres away. I can tell without looking at them that she has just started breastfeeding the child because he started griping and then there was that characteristic sound that a child makes just as it latches on.
That has to be one of the pleasantest sounds in the world.
