Unusually I do have a reasonable excuse for being here, we need a new bathmat and IKEA have them at reasonable prices.

Just heard on BBC R4 that Voyager 1's messages are no longer making sense.

It's an astonishing achievement to be able to send to, and receive messages from, such a tiny object twelve thousand million kilometres away.

Still sad to think it will soon be completely out of contact
