A realistic and utopian future

I glimpsed in my mind's eye how it could be for me, there's an old folks home in town near the grocery store, me and my bro could see if my financial set up could or would put me there after daddykins goes to the hereafter, and the last necessity would be that they let me have my computer and 2 kindles, i'd have to watch my money more closely, less to spend all round for books, but that's why i've been spending so much for the last long while, oh yes, i don't need family like dad does, no one of my fam needs trouble to visit, i can probably develop an amicable rapport with the folk in the home (i should mention here that dad's worst fear is being sent to a home). Would a home accept a 50 something year old, i'd be the youngest fella there 'cept for the personnel. I like this idea, and will at an opportune time mention it to the brother. I long for the days when i don't have to hear poorly executed religious peregrinations, all there'd be is literature, maybe i'd still be here or a similar site, and nothing much would seemingly be different. Russia would still be mass slaughtering countries near it, Israel will be doing similarly, other bloodcurdling wars going on, mammoth natural disasters, and so forth, but i'd be oblivious till the big bomb obliterates everything, dead instantly doing what i love reading and sharing my thoughts in a vacuum.
