But today I don't have an excuse for being here, I have an actual reason! The expensive down filled pillow that No. 3 son bought here turns out to have a tiny rip in the stitching of the piped seam. If it had been a cheap pillow I think he might have ignored it but this is about 750 NOK, 69 GBP so it should be perfect.
So I'm here to take it back and get a replacement or refund.
I decided to investigate cafés in another shopping centre on the way home so I'm in the CC (it used to stand for Cash and Carry when it was principally a supermarket but now CC is the actual name.

@turbineman40 Got my money back. They don't do exchanges, the store is so big and busy that it would add a lot of time to the transaction. So you either get your money back or a voucher for the same value.
So I walked back through what IKEA calls the Market Place and found another pillow of exactly the same kind. It turns out that between buying and returning they have become an end of line item, so it was 250 NOK, about 25 USD, cheaper than before!
@turbineman40 Well, not really for very cold weather. The tights are opaque but are not thick ones. It was about 4°C. But really you don't need to dress in anything very heavy for cold weather as long as there is no wind!
