I Hate Being Blocked For No Reason

So there's this person I was having a really good conversation with for exactly 1 and a half day on here xD
He was being too complimenting, so I soon told him that I don't want to get close to people online. Suddenly I'm prerogative and he blocked me xD How is that even a reason, it's called self protection when I checked it last. There are always some exceptions over time anyway, but you can't expect to be such an exception in a day and half can you...
What do you people think?

@nate2244 Exactly. And the conversation really had nothing negative in it aside from me being a bit distant (as should be after merely a day? Idk xD). We even typed damn long replies and had so much things in common :0

@nate2244 True, it's not because I don't reply for an hour/ or even a day that it means I don't want to xD Some people don't get that and get angry or block me for it. Sometimes I feel like I'm dealing with adult childs on here for half of the people I meet xD
