Ever since they changed the way the feed works, I've muted people I disagree with. I don't need to work myself up for nothing, especially on this site, no one's changing anyone's opinions here. And for messages, I try not to block people, but the conversation just naturally dies when the only thing we say to each other is "hi". That being said, how many people are looking for someone to take an interest in them, and that "hi" is all they know how to do and it's like a lifeline? Probably not many, but 1 is enough to keep me from blocking someone.

i don't but i love threads on who blocks and why / blocking strategy in general. in the specifics of this site I am not sure what repetitive means-- there isn't a lot o deep thinking on here---that is more for other sites and sub forums in other places.

figure reading threads on here is a shallow time investment when contrasted to other places and the redundancy of a specfic poster isn't really a time suck for this specific site.

Yes. I've done that twice because they just copied and pasted the same reply in lots of different threads over a long period of time, I have one more in my sights who never engages, just post the sneering images. So far, I've not been so annoyed as to do it.

I’ve blocked someone for finding their posts a bit too mundane in their daily narrative. Posts like “think I’ll brush my teeth and then dust my room”. I was having a day, usually I’d just mute.

Nah, I don’t block. I’ll mute users whose posts I get tired of seeing, or if I just don’t like them, lol.

I wont stand for sex comments on my children. That is always a block
