A well known user did too, and I got called out as the bad person for blocking them. They had an unhealthy obsession about my child and yet they're still here, playing the little orphan card and people think it's cute.

I'm gonna message them just to get them to do it so I can report.

Need more strict parameters in social media where fetishes are allowed
ThirstenHowl · M
@Miram honestly using the web needs to be less anonymous (at least in Western countries) and more invasive in vetting who is using a site ... I'm guessing a small niche site like this couldn't handle that overhead so there really needs to be a centralized resource that excels at handling it, which all social sites can hook into ... the obvious entity for that is a government agency (I mean they already provide your photo ID and could better assure some malicious actor isn't using AI to generate deepfake photo ID and record), but everyone will scream "overreach" about that, so then I guess some NGO that hopefully doesn't go belly up in a couple of years, but this current situation isn't working
Miram · 31-35, F
@ThirstenHowl I hardly see anonymity being used for what it was meant to be in the majority of cases. It now does the opposite of being employed for the betterment of our species.
Even in developing countries.

"mommy" within the profile name is already a red flag
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@caPnAhab I remember there was a guy on Yahoo Answers with the word daddy in his name. He had a handlebar mustache in his profile picture. Swore up and down he wasn't gay.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@LordShadowfire "Daddy" weirds me out a bit too
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@caPnAhab He swore it was because he had children, but we all made hardcore fun of his name. I kept asking him if he was a leather daddy, right up until the day he blocked me.

No posts and no comments. What, does that person just exist to message people?
Miram · 31-35, F
@LordShadowfire to ask about their kids and talk of theirs..
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Miram Yeah, that definitely seems like a red flag.

@ThirstenHowl Used to do little bit SEO when I was more active in getting this nonsense decreased in platforms.
Most EP indexed searches were about KIDS literally
And with the importation of that over here including groups, so did the same issue.

@Miram makes you wonder who "patient zero" was so to speak who got this ball rolling, whether on EP, or social media in general, if it was already an existing trend which also just got carried over in EP
I would never even occur to me to go to social media to seek out kids, never mind apparently establish some creeper community to do it en masse ... and then I guess someone along the line the creeps have been successful or this phenomenon would've already withered ... it's just so bizarre to me, and disheartening to know that relatively little is done by platforms or a service provide to platforms to cut down or eliminate it ... and I don't see how you could do that without everyone online surrendering a little minor bit of privacy, whether the admins of a site know who you are, or their centralized identity authenticator provider knew who you were and passed along enough of that to the platforms so they could A) ensure you are human, B) of adult age, C) not operating alt accounts, and so forth ... and if you have something like a sex offender record, then that would be avoid too and perhaps that even knocks you out completely from being on social media at all ... making something like this mandatory to even sign up for an account would cut down on a lot of negativity on social media I think
