How many of you came to this website after the EP shutdown?

I came here after EP closed…think this site opened a week or two later. EP shut down due to privacy issues and pressure from law enforcement to give up user info. Owner opted to just shut it down rather than deal with it. If I am remembering right.

I did, I don't remember exactly why it shut down. I do remember there were a lot of rumors floating around that it was due to an incident but I am not sure if that was true or not.

There were various stories, but the main one seemed to be that EP got bought out and the buyers had other plans that never materialized. But I suppose we'll never know. There was even talk that Peter Jackson, director of LORD OF THE RINGS etc., was one of the buyers.

I thought EP was an older version SW. My EP password works on SW.

I did. It shut down suddenly, apparently the project had run its course so the site was no longer needed.

Do you know about the EP murder? That and the cost of the technology to keep it running are what shut it down.
