Afraid of being Rejected.. Has anyone here ever requested a friend follow from someone you know...

I’ve pulled the friend requests usually because I decided against possibly bothering the individual. Ironically after that I’ve logged in to see a friend request from them which I accept.

When I was young the fear of rejection was almost debilitating. Many times I wouldn't approach a girl for fear of being rejected.

I don't try to add people without being 100% sure that they will accept.
